How are the partner families selected?
|
|
The OCHFH Family Selection Committee chooses partner families based on their level of need, their ability to repay the no-interest mortgage, and their willingness to partner in the building process. OCHFH follows a non-discriminatory policy in selecting partner families, and requires the family to invest in 250-400 hours of sweat equity. The majority of hours are generally invested during the building process.
